Cooking Method ( for 5 persons only)

 

Marinate 1 kg of meat (your choice) cut into pieces with 1 tablespoons ginger and garlic paste, salt and 2 tablespoons honey. Cook before hand. Reserve. In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons chopped onion, 5 tablespoons onion paste, 2 tablespoons ginger and garlic paste and 1 tablespoon of Spice for stew of STARDEG. Let it brown for 3 to 4 mins. Add 2 cups water, 1 cup mashed fresh tomato, thyme, fried potato, peas and 1 pinch zafran. Add the meat (your choice) previously cooked and add salt to taste. Warning, Please note the content of the spice bag is concentrated = 1 The Best of Typical Mauritian dish !! 5 people so you can use it 3 times
